Doors open at 6.30pm, talk begins at 7pm.
Join artist Holly Hendry as she guides us through selected works in our current Heidi Bucher survey exhibition. Walking through the exhibition space, Hendry will share her perspective on Bucher’s work in the context of her own practice and those of her contemporaries.
Holly Hendry lives and works in London. Her sculptures define the architecture of spaces by exploring scale, surface, colour and density with a wide range of materials in her installations. Hendry is a recipient of the Kenneth Armitage Young Sculptor Award (2016) and the Woon Foundation Prize for Painting and Sculpture (2014). In 2016 Hendry presented a solo show at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and has recently completed a new large-scale public commission for the Liverpool Biennial 2018 and Phyllis, a new public sculpture commissioned by Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Selfridges, for the new entrance of Selfridges, Duke Street.
