Big Draw workshop for the blind and visually impaired
Sunday 6 October, 2:30pm – 4pm
£6/5 conc.
Investigating Alfred N. Whitehead’s Reading Room, 2013, through a sensory engagement with the structure, participants will use dictaphones to describe the room and record their experience. The group will then swap recordings, translating the descriptions into a drawing and combining both experiences of the explored building. Materials used will vary from clay and perforated surfaces, to string and elastic. Workshop with artist educator Nicola Pomery.
