Artist Talk & Screening

Exhibiting artist Shezad Dawood will discuss his practice and current exhibition at Parasol unit, in conversation with writer and critic Oliver Basciano. The talk will include the premier screening of Dawood’s New Dream Machine Project II (15 mins), a film commissioned in 2013 by Parasol unit as part of the Parasolstice – Winter Light Project.

Oliver Basciano is a London-based writer and critic. He is managing editor at ArtReview and has contributed to various other art and architecture magazines, exhibition catalogues and artist monographs. He sits on the board of trustees for the Woodmill Gallery and Studios.
