Significant Circles

Parasol unit is delighted to host a Big Draw workshop for adults that will reflect upon Bharti Kher’s current exhibition, in particular her borrowing of cultural motifs.  This workshop will look at the Mandala, which is Sanskrit for “circle” or “completion” – a concentric diagram and an ancient art form holding spiritual significance. Each participant will have the opportunity to create their own Mandala through colour, line, form and pattern, working with various materials including, mixed media collage, inks and papers.
