Block Printing and Wall Drawing

An exciting and intuitive workshop led by local artist educator Alexandra Hughes and inspired by Parasol unit’s exhibition Lines of Thought, exploring gesture and expression through line and mark-making. Participants will have the opportunity to create individual mixed media prints using Styrofoam block printing and to contribute collectively to a large wall based work demonstrating a network of individuals’ thoughts that are informed by the person’s mark that came before. This workshop is best suited to 5-14 year olds; all children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
