An evening with Ruth Lingford

In 1990, after working as an occupational therapist with mentally ill old people (and bringing up a family), Ruth Lingford completed a BA in Fine Art and Art History at Middlesex Polytechnic. She moved on to the Animation School at the Royal College of Art. Her films have been broadcast by Channel 4, in the UK, and have won many awards all over the world. She has been teaching since 1998 in the MA animation program at the Royal College of Art and at the National Film and Television School. Lingford is now Professor of the Practice of Animation at Harvard University, USA
